The night in Oia is rather charming.
After sunset, the yellow lights in the shops are all on, not too bright not too light; the romantic candle light and relaxing music from restaurants construct the little place a magical web.
Walking along the narrow stone roads between those white buildings, just feel like walking in the dream. I slow down and put my steps gently, don’t want to disturb the place bathing the smooth moonlight, don’t want to wake up from the lovely summer dream. What is romantic? There it is.

I finally managed to rent a scooter in the afternoon on my second day in Santorini. Riding a scooter to everywhere I wanted to go was really a freedom, because the bus seemed never come!

I wonder what you’re doing now, after a day’s hard work. Drinking Gin and tonic and playing your online game? Chatting to people from the game or go out for dinner with some friends?

I saw a lot of Asian people in this small island: Japanese, Taiwanese, Cantonese and Korean. Somehow I feel a bit funny to see people from Taiwan, so familiar. I just couldn’t go forward and say hi, although I did feel like to. I know it sounds silly, but I felt my tears come out of my eyes after heard one lady talking just like my mum. Fortunately, I had my sunglasses on.
I think that I’m really used to tell you everything, almost everything, no matter you pay attention or not.
And even when I was alone, I talked to you, in my mind.
Like today, on my way to Paradise, I stepped several snails, and I said:’ Oh, Martin, you see! I smash someone’s house again!’ And then I thought of the night in Sheffield, on our way from ‘ 3 merry lads’ to home, how careful you were. You hold my hand all the way, lifted me to jump of the snails, so gently and sweet.

And am I just so careless?
To step the snail or to drop the camera.
I was so sad on the top of Ancient Thira, panic, and didn’t know what to do;I hardly to put myself together, only wanted to end the trip and go back to you, say sorry and face my guilty. And you may say :’Poor baby.’
But that won’t help, I decided.
So I kept going with my original plan: go to see Red Beach, go to swimming a bit, and move to Oia.
I did bring the camera to Fira, to see if it could be fixed soon. But no, not soon. Good news was it has chance to be fixed.
Really painful, for me. I thought about to bring my old one once before I packed, in case anything happened, especially I travel alone. Sometimes my six- sense is amazing accurate, I don’t still feel it’s a good thing, tho.
